I spent a long day at school today, working on my dress pattern. Tomorrow, I submit the final draft, and that portion is out of my hair (whew). However, one assignment ends and another begins.
In a couple weeks time, I will be stocked back up on my incense cones of choice (Jasmine, Dragons Blood), and a few new kinds, including White Sage and Amber, as I submit an order. I’m also excited to receive some other goods. The woman I purchase from is truly a gem, cutting me some extra savings in shipping costs.
While pursuing the day without a phone was different, it was actually really nice. It couldn’t prove as a distraction, and while I got side-tracked in social affairs instead, that’s still better than melting my eyes on a screen. Although, my phone is still alive, it’s just that the battery needs to run out so I can restart it, considering it’s been “updating” since nine o’clock this morning, and I can’t simply turn it off considering that my lock button is effed up. It’s actually pretty humorous.
Tomorrow’s another day.
